Michael O. Maynard, age 49, of Florida, formerly of Hammond and East Side, Chicago, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He is survived by his children Lauren Maynard and Jonathon Maynard; parents James and Lovadis Maynard; brothers James (Mona) Maynard Jr. and Randall (Cynthia) Maynard; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew James I. Maynard.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana.

Michael was proud to be a retired member of the City of Hammond Fire Department Local #556. He was also an employee of Malcolm Drilling in Pompano Beach, Florida. He loved golfing in the beautiful Florida sun.
