Michael A Kitzmiller, age 59 of Griffith, was called by the Angels on Saturday September 5th, 2026.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Ann Kitzmiller, grandparents William & Carmelita Reiss, uncle Edward (Betty) Reiss, uncle John Reiss, aunt Christine Ann Bailey, and cousin Jason A Mesman

Mike is survived by his brother Thomas Kitzmiller (Sonja Anderson), sister Carla Kitzmiller (John Porter), aunt Elizabeth (John) Paul, aunt Mable Reiss, uncle Vic Cox, nephew Mathew Kitzmiller (Soleen Nguyen), niece Ashley Kitzmiller, (their mother Lynn Kitzmiller) and many cousins.

Mike was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Men’s F.O.E. for 35 years.

Mike was a son, brother, uncle, nephew and a friend to many. He touched many hearts and would help anyone. His world was “mom”

Mikes favorite things were cooking for mom, crossword books in the afternoon with mom, watching the “CUBS” games and football on Saturday & Sunday with mom. He loved collecting old time collectable car models and Harley Davidson Motorcycle models.

He is now at peace with mom.
