Melba A. Doppler age 79 of Haines City, Florida formerly of Griffith, passed away on Friday August 19, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 62 ½ years Tom; children Naida Doppler, Kathy (Kenny) Bedell, Cindy (Dale) Daniels, Delores (Joel) Roper, Tom (Theresa) Doppler, John (Beth) Doppler, and Carl (Maribel) Doppler; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; sister Connie (Marvin) McConnell; and by her    numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Rene (nee Kennett) Moore, daughter Barbara, and grandsons Austin and Tim.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 10:00am DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday August 23th from 3-7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith.

Melba was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Rosary Society. She was involved with the Girls Scouts for 40 years and the Boy Scouts for 20 years. Melba was also involved with the Park Patrol at Jellystone Campground in Portage and Westview Ridge Park in Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
