Matthew R. Johnson age 34 of Griffith passed away on Sunday December 13th, 2020.

He is survived by his mother Rita Primm, siblings; Jason Johnson, Gary Johnson, and Michelle (Kelly) Widing, nieces and nephews; Cody, William, Dylan, Corey, Tabitha, Tara, and Misty, 2 great nieces Olivia and Ahviana.

Matthew was preceded in death by his father Billie J. Johnson and brother Justin Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 22nd, 2020 at 10:00 AM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Pastor Devin Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday December 21st, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME.

Due to the concerns of COVID-19, all those attending the funeral service and visitation, facial masks will be required.

Matthew graduated from Lake Central High School. Matthew loved working on cars, motorcycles, and loved spending time with his family.
