Mary G. VanCuren age 69 of Gary, passed away on Thursday March 8, 2018. She is survived by her children; Kathleen A. Harbin, James "Jimmy" R. (Cyndi) Harbin, Tina L. (Christopher) Garver, Lisa (Jr) Roark, Champ VanCuren, Gerald (Jodi) VanCuren, John Wayne VanCuren and Paul Allen VanCuren; eighteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; brothers Carl (Sharon) Belcher and Ernest (Debbie) Belcher; and  by her sister Debbie (Tom) Strobel.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Arthur VanCuren Sr; parents Kyle and Cora Belcher, and by her brother Jesse (Doris) Belcher.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Family Christian Center 345 W. 45th Ave. in Munster, IN with Pastor Steve Munsey and Pastor Jim Utley officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday March 15, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until - 11:30 am directly at Family Christian Center.

Mary was retired from Dawn Foods in Crown Point. She was a member of Family Christian in Munster, a volunteer at Operation Care in Griffith, and she was very active in J.O.N. (Jesus of Nazareth) for over 25 years. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
