She is survived by her 4 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren: son Alex S. Kowalsky II (Allison Lemon, deceased), grandson Alex (“AJ”) Kowalsky, great-granddaughter Ashyln Kowalsky, granddaughter Amber S. Kowalsky (Gabriel García), great-grandson, Leo García (Kowalsky), daughter Jacqulyn Kowalsky (Manuel Oliva), granddaughter Katya Oliva Kowalsky (Nikos Potakis), granddaughter Tatianna Oliva Kowalsky (Peio Erroteta) great-granddaughter Chloe Erroteta Kowalsky, son Dean Kowalsky, son Kolten (“Matthew”) Kowalsky (Reiza Kowalsky).Graduated from Roosevelt High School, East Chicago, Indiana.Graduated from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana with BA in Journalism 1956.Sorority Sister of Sigma KappaMaster’s Degree from Purdue University, 1971Teacher and Title One specialist at McKinley Elementary School, East Chicago, Indiana for many years.Long-standing member of the Munster Garden ClubLong-standing member of Munster Book ClubActive member of Purdue University Book ClubAttended services at St James Church, Highland IndianaTravelled throughout Europe for numerous years.A brave, amazing, funny, creative woman!
