Mary "JoJo" Graig, age 60, of Gary, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She is survived by her husband Steven R. Wiley; daughter Kyla Graig; mother Alberta (Strauch) Graig; sisters; Gloria (Joe) Frey and Susan (Gary) Cruse; best friend Lori (Jerry) Voight; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Horace G. Graig.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W, Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Pastor Freda Scales of Griffith Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be at Chapel Lawn in Schererville at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM before the service.

Mary was a lifelong Black Oak resident. She graduated from Calumet High School in 1981. Following graduation, she worked in the Lake Ridge School System until her retirement. Being involved in her community was very important to her. As a mentor to many area children throughout the years, she will surely leave a positive impact in her community.
