Mary Ann Barringer age 73 of Merrillville, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Greg) Takacs-Tano

Grandchildren: Samantha "Sami" and Ricky

Brother: John (Diana) Schafer

Nieces: Wendy Schafer, Jennifer Schafer and by her great nephew Zander Gomolinski

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Tillie Dancy and her son Michael Domazet

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 7:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith, IN, with Pastor Steven Massey officiating.

Cremation will follow.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, August 16 from 4-7:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

Mary Ann retired from East Chicago Public Library.  She enjoyed resale shopping, crafts, traveling and she loved spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the family.
