Marty M. Weightman age 74 of Cedar Lake passed away on Sunday May 31st, 2020.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Weightman, children; Woodrow (Mindy) Weightman, Julie (Jim) Stinnett, grandchildren; Noah Hitt, Breanna Weightman, Justin Stinnett, step-grandchildren; Kaylee Stinnett, Jamie Stinnett, special niece (who was more like a granddaughter) Rachel Peabody, sister Beverly (George) Goodson, brother Robert (Sandra) Weightman, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Wilma Weightman and sister Carol Weightman.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Marty's life will be held on Saturday June 13th, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Living Hope Church located at 9000 Taft St. Merrillville with Pastor Doug Sheehy officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday June 13th, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Living Hope Church.

Marty was an Air Force Veteran and a member of Living Hope Church. Marty was a Retiree with American Can, later worked with Chandler's Siding, and a Medical Courier for Community Care Network.

Marty enjoyed fishing and also enjoyed watching fishing shows on the television.

He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
