Martha L. Marion age 95 of Hammond passed away on Thursday April 6th, 2017

She is survived by her daughters; Beverly Gauthier and Sandra Vicari; grandchildren; Steven Marion, Carrie Ann Marion, Cheryl (Jim) Rot, Amy (Jay) Gidley, Michael Smith, Martha (Courtney) Braswell, Jay (Olivia) Gauthier, Christopher (Jennifer) Marion; great grandchildren Sandy Jo Marion, Jeff Maliziola, John Gidley, Chloe Gidley, Cheyenne Gidley, Kylie Gidley, Nicholas Gauthier, Michael Smith, Drew Marion, Haley Marion and Ethan Braswell and 3 great great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband Howard after 66 years of marriage and her two sons Gary and Ronald Marion.

Funeral service will be held on Monday April 10th at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith with Dr. Ron York officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday April 9th from 2:00pm-7:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Martha was a member of Black Oak Church of Christ for over 60 years. She worked for a short time at Griffith High School cafeteria. She liked her flowers, reading, and sewing. Martha also loved to host the missionaries from church.
