MARION A. GEARMAN HAMMOND, IN Marion A. Gearman, age 92, of Hammond, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann (Thomas "Fred") Aguilar of Hammond; grandchildren: Lexann Wells, Daniel Wells, Marsha Salmon, and Michael Salmon; great grandchildren: Erin, Gavin, and Alyssa. Also by her sister Ann Sickich; and son-in-law, Herman Gensel, of Hammond. Preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Julia Swedran; brothers: Rudy Swedran and Joseph Swedran; husband, Thomas Gearman; and daughter, Phyllis Gensel.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home , 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN with Father Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with family on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at White Funeral Home.
