Marie Hunter age 90 of Griffith, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2012.

She is survived by her sisters: Ida Patterson

Brother: Jack (Tootsie) Marsh

Nieces and Nephews: Chester (Peggy) Patterson, Tom (Denise) Patterson, Scott Jr. Patterson, Leroy (Jamie) Marsh, Twila Marsh, Marvin (Lyn) McCarty, Donald (Pam) McCarty, Pat (Steve) Slat, and Barbara Zatorski.

Numerous Great nieces and nephews and Great Great nieces and nephew

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Victoria Marsh, husband Albert D. Hunter, brothers Ray, True, and Ed, and by her sister Myrtie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 25, 2012 at 1:00pm at White Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Puent officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday May 25 ^th from 10:00am-1:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith

Marie was retired from Lever Brothers and member of their Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. Marie prided herself on a beautiful yard filled with flowers each summer, especially her favorite geraniums. Auntie, as many called her, could often be found laughing and playing games while entertaining the children in the family. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
