Maria L. Quintero age 95 of Griffith passed away on Tuesday June 22nd, 2021.

She is survived by her children; Jorge (Bertha) Quintero, Amelia (Jorge) Gonzalez, Jose (Karen) Quintero, Abe (Adriana Barragan) Quintero, Alberto (Marina) Quintero, many grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Rosaura Quintero, many nieces, nephews, and her two sisters.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Cristobal and son Refugio.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 29th, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday June 28th, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME.

Maria loved to cook and was known for her homemade flour tortillas. She enjoyed wearing her perfume and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Maria will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
