Mary J. Bodnar (DiMichele) age 87, of Highland In.,  passed away Saturday, December 21st. 2013.  She was born in Scenaro, Italy and came to the United States when she was five years old with her mother Sabina. Her father Eduardo built them a home before their arrival.   Mary met her husband John Bodnar when she was 15 years old and got married at 19.   They were married for 13 years before they had their four children who became the center of their world.

She is preceded in death by her husband John and her brothers Robert and Edward DiMichele.

Mary is survived by her sisters Jacqueline DiMichele and Angela Olivotto. Her four children John (wife Karen), Suzette, Jeff(wife Mary), Greg and her six grandchildren Michael, Jon Stefan, Lara, Danielle, Jessica, and Mary Grace.

She had a private funeral at the Elmwood Cemetery Chapel on December 28th. She will be missed by her family and all that knew her. She was a wonderful mother, Grandmother, sister and friend.
