Manuel "Manny" Colomes age 47 of Griffith, passed away on Friday October 7, 2016.

He is survived by his children Matthew, Alexandria, Dennis, and Gabriel Colomes; his mother Manuela Colomes; father Sergio Colomes; brothers Tommy (Emily) Colomes and Sergio Colomes and by his sister Emily Colomes. He is also survived by his Ex-wife Maggie Plarinos; his significant other Kay Williams; and by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Manuel  and Aracelis Sanchez, and Juanita Colomes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home with Fr. Steve Kosinski officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday October 12th form 3:00pm – 7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue, Griffith.

Manny was an LPN at Munster Med-Inn. He was formerly employed at UPS in Hodgkins, IL and Men's Warehouse. Growing up in Los Angelos, CA, Manny was an avid L.A. Dodgers fan  and was a  former bat boy for them.  He is a Griffith Diamond Club member.  He will be missed by many in the Griffith community, where he was known as "Coach Manny".

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
