Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 4, 2016. Born to Georgina and Francisco Bernacet on October 27, 1945 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

He is survived by his sister Mary L. Spencer, Chicago, IL Brothers: Miguel "Mike" (Janet) Bernacet, Hobart, Alfred (Gladys) Bernacet, East Chicago, and Frank (Lesa) Bernacet, Michigan City.

Special Niece Nicole "Peanut" (Jose) Mireles, Hobart. Nieces: Anita Guzman, San Antonio, TX, Amber Bernacet, Michigan City, IN and Nykky (Lee) McCarley-Cameron, San Francisco, CA.

Nephews: Joe (Kathy)Bernacet, Crown Point, IN, Granit Kekua, Wahiawa, HI, Anthony Spencer, Chicago, IL, Randle Spencer, Brian Spencer and Nathan Bernacet, Frank (Angie)Bernacet, San Antonio, TX, Daniel Bernacet, Chicago, IL.
