Mae E. Gidley age 70, of Gary passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015.

She is survived by her children: Donna Van Gundy of Cedar Lake, Amy (Jeff) Barrentine of Alabama, William V. (Paula) Gidley, Jr. of Merrillville, and John "Jay" (Amy) Gidley of Calumet Township.

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Siblings: Debra (Jerry) Messman of Calumet Township, John (late Mary) Thompson of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Howard (Della) Thompson of Chicago.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Smith; father, William Thompson, daughter, Sheila Mae Gidley, son Jeffrey Allen Gidley, sister Margaret Thompson  and brothers, George and William Thompson and Gladys (Ervin) Oldaker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday November 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, Indiana with Pastor Craig Harper officiating.

Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4-8:00 PM at White Funeral Home , Griffith.

Member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Griffith and a former member of Zion Holiness Church in Hammond.
