Lottie A. Kocon age 89, of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Peter Kocon; son, Michael (Carol) Kocon; grandchildren: John (Lisa) Iliff, Jennifer (Craig) Mahoney, Lorri (James) Cutler, Steven (Jennifer) Kocon; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Stella Shebesh; daughter Theresa Iliff; three sisters;and by her three brothers.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 12:00 noon. at White Funeral Home, with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Cremation preceded the services.

Friends may meet with the family Wednesday August 29th, from 10:00a.m. until time of service at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45th Ave. Griffith, IN.

Lottie was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in Hammond. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed baking, cooking, and caring for her family. Her family would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at Community Hospital, in Munster for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
