Lenny "Lanny" E. Smith age 63 of Griffith passed away on Sunday September

15, 2013

He is survived by his wife of 19 years Sherry; children Bradley (Amanda) Smith of Racine, WI; Craig Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Andy Smith of Albuquerque, NM, Michelle (Patrick) Hachey of Franklin, NJ, and Scott (Vinita) Gilbert of DeMotte; grandchildren: Julie, Ian, Reece, Jacob, Olivia, Mason; and by his brother: Ken (Auneen) Smith of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Effie Smith; and by his brother Burl.

Funeral Services will be private.

Lanny was an Army Veteran. He was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group), and the American Legion. Lanny was a retired truck driver, and he loved Corvettes and Harleys

Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
