Larry A. Witt age 72 of Griffith, IN, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Shiella; children: Sherry Spinks, Larry A. (Christine) Witt Jr.; grandchildren: Paige Spinks, Adam, Windy, and Mitchell Witt; siblings Bill (Stella) Witt, Dora (Ed) Beard, Louise Mathis, Nancy Ward, Jake Witt, Douglas (Shelley) Witt, Sue Maggard; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Eva Witt, and siblings Patricia, Bruce "Leo", Michael, and Ralph.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 4:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. with Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, November 30th, from 1:00pm until time of service at White Funeral Home.

Larry retired from LTV Steel.

He was a member of Griffith Assembly of God.

Larry loved fishing, Nascar, working in his Yard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, building guitars, and working on classic cars.
