Kimberly Steinert age 62 of Griffith passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her home.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Kenneth Steinert

Children: Sean Bradford of Cleveland, OH, Kevin Steinert of Munster, IN, Kelly Steinert of Merrillville, IN, and Karie (Jim Jr.) Witvoet of St. Anne, IL.

Sister: Sharon (Steve) Kurowski of Crown Point, IN

Grandchildren: Erin Bradford, Kristina Witvoet, Breanna Witvoet and James Witvoet III.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Steinert, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 7:30 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue, Griffith with Pastor Fred  Bishop officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, September 2 from 2:00 pm until time of service at White Funeral Home.

Kimberly was a very active member of GFWC (General Federation Women Club) on a national level and  was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Griffith.  She loved scrap booking, crafts, was an avid reader and passionate  about helping children with special needs.
