Kenneth A. Collins age 74 of Griffith went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 4, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Dean; children Tony (Janey) Collins, Jimmie Gail (William) Kunis, Susie (Mark) Anuszkiewicz, Sandra Howard; grandchildren  Justen, Eric, Angela, Alicia, Jeffrey, Gretchen, Scottie, Miranda, Aurora;  great grandchildren  Oz, Hayden, Trooper, Taylor, Stu, Jase, Layla; sisters Joyce Plemons, Carol Collins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friends Beth and Mike Kime.  Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Maggie Collins and by his brothers Avery and James.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 9, 2016 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home with his son Pastor Tony Collins officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday September 8th from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith.

Ken was an Army veteran and he was retired from the Maintenance Dept. at  LTV Steel  after 39 years. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
