Katherine A. Veenstra "nee Clark" age 79 of Gary, formerly of Norfolk, VA. passed away on Friday May 22nd, 2020.

She is survived by her daughter Teri Larkin (Duane Brown), granddaughter Amanda Brown, siblings; Anita Valenti and Jerome Clark.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years Brian Veenstra, mother Marcella Bednar-Baker, father Henry Clark, stepfather Edward Baker, brother William Baker, children Lawrence, Jerome, Laura Sue, and grandmother Catherine Bednar.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Inurnment will take place at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Katherine was an animal lover.
