Katherine A. Kemmerly age 85 of Crown Point, passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018. She is survived by her children Linda (Chuck) Collins-Leinonen, Charles Kemmerly, and Jami Kemmerly; grandchildren Joel, Jessica, Derek, and Aubrey; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, 3 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents Vondal and Jennie, husband James, son James Jr., and by her 11 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home . Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday May 30th from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith. Katherine and her husband Jim where co-owners of K & W Trophy Shop in Crown Point and she was a member of the Navajo Saddle Club. Katherine loved spending time at the Crown Point Senior Civic Center, playing BINGO, and attending her Red Hat Society. She was also the Asst.
