Joyce Ann Meadows age 62 of Griffith passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Sebert Lee Meadows, Sr.

Children: Sonja (Brian) Haney, Michelle (David) Schweitzer, and Serbert Meadows Jr.

Grandchildren: John Michael Uylaki, Collin Lee Meadows, Katie Nychole Meadows and Haley Nicole Meadows.

Brothers: George (Dorothy) Washington of West Virginia, Terry Washington of West Virginia, Farley (Sherell) Washington of West Virginia and John (Regina) Washington of North Carolina.

Sisters: Lavonne Workman of West Virginia, Shelby (Dave) Stenger of West Virginia and Verretta Keeney of South Carolina.

Sister-in-law: Isaleah Goodwin, Brother-in-law: Raymond Meadows, and special friend: Jerry.

Preceded in death by her parents: George and Blanch Washington, brother: Howard Lee Washington, father-in-law Marvin Meadows, mother –in-law Josie Meadows, sister-in-law Sonja Paxton, and brother –in-law Billy Meadows

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 21 ^st at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith. With Pastor Gary Paxton officiating.

Burial will follow Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, November 20 ^th from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Joyce loved to crochet and playing her scratch off tickets.
