Joyce E. McMurry age 77 of Gary, passed away on

Sunday, September 15, 2013.

She is survived by her children: Janice Larmon, of Colorado and Debra (Dale) Houchin of Gary; grandchildren: Christopher Dausey, Craig Ross, Andrew Punak, Phillip Punak, Jennifer Punak, Cory Spriggs, Lydia Punak, and Richard Punak; and by her many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Twila (Eddie) Stone of Merrillville.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lorene McMurry; son, Robert; daughter, Carolyn Sue; and by her sister Mavis.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 19, 2013 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, with Pastor Stephen Sluder officiating.

Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home .

Joyce was a member of Griffith Church of God, and the Eastern Star. She also enjoyed painting pictures.
