Joy A. Komoscar, age 49, of Hobart passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. She is survived by her parents: Joseph and Dollie Komoscar; her siblings: Dawn Komoscar, Timothy Komoscar, Tina Napalowski, Nicholas Komoscar, Peter (Rikki) Banczak; Olivia Kerr; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; all of her soul sisters; and her Fur Babies: Lila and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her dogs: Whitney and Grace.

Joy was a graduate of Calumet High School Class of 1991. She spent 25 years in the Mortgage Industry. She was a very generous and caring person. She was always the first one there for those in need. Joy was the first to make plans with everyone and was always there to see it through and keep everyone together. She was truly loved by all those who knew her.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th (Glen Park) Avenue in Griffith.  A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at White Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Rukes officiating. Inurnment will be private at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.
