Josephine J. Tall (nee Augustynek) age 82 of Hammond, formerly of Calumet City, passed away on Sunday August 18, 2013.

She is survived by her daughters: Patricia (David) Barrickman, Brenda Tall, and Sandra

(Dennis Jr.) Zasada; grandchildren: Garth (Brooke) Lindner, Justin (Maribel) Lindner, Julia Zasada; great grandchild: Alexa Lindner; sister: Gertrude Ostrowski; sister-in-law: Dorothy Augustynek; God mother to: Leo Ostrowski, Tom Augustynek, and Steven Tall; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Julia Augustynek; husband, Thomas J. Tall; brothers Michael (Adele), Matthew (Bunny), Sylvester, and brother-in-law, Leonard Ostrowski.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 12:00pm at St. John Bosco, located at7113 Columbia Ave., in Hammond, IN with Fr. Richard Orlinski celebrating.

Josephine was a member of St. John Bosco Church in Hammond, and a former member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Calumet City. She retired from Rand Mc Nally after over 20 years of service.

Josephine was proud of her Polish Heritage. She enjoyed taking walks and spending time with her family and friends.
