Joseph J. Winkler age 79 of Gary, passed away on Thursday November 9, 2017.

He is survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Katarina Winkler and by his sisters Elizabeth Wojic and Vera Winkler Kljajic.

Funeral services will be held on Monday November 13, 2017 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith, with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday November 12th from 4:00pm -8:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Joe was employed by Refax in Gary and he loved taking care of and feeding all of "His Animals".
