Joseph Saddler age 77 of Valparaiso passed away on May 21, 2017 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso.

He is survived  by his wife Anna; children Linda (Jeff) Holescko of  Las Vegas, NV, Danny (Donna) Saddler of Shawnee, KS., and Andrew (Kari) Saddler of  Las Vegas, NV; grandson Ryan (Emily) Saddler; granddaughter Karsyn Saddler; great grandchildren Caden, Willow and Gunner Saddler; step- children  Daniel, Doreen and Deanna.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (nee Dulijan) Saddler, his parents Harry and Ann Saddler, and by his sister Judy (late Fred)  Dankomis.

Private graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday May 24th from 2:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith, IN

Joe was an active member, past Commodore, and Flag Officer for over 30 years. Joe was instrumental in the building of the new (current) Indiana Harbor Yacht Club in East Chicago.  He enjoyed sailing the "Patti J" on Lake Michigan with his family and friends.   Joe was well respected by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to VNA Hospice or the American Heart Association.
