Joseph "Joe" R. McNeill, age 54 of Griffith IN, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014.

He is survived by his parents, William and Pauline "Paula" Schmidt of Griffith IN.; two brothers: Steven (Alena) McNeill of Olalla, WA., Bruce (Cynthia) McNeill of Newberg, IN. and one sister: Amy Ray-Schmidt of Fort Wayne, IN.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Gordon McNeill.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00am at White Funeral Home with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel lawn Memorial Gardens, in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, March 28th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith.

Joe attended St. Mary Catholic Church of Griffith. He was employed with the Town of Griffith for 25 years.  Joe graduated from Griffith High School class of 1978.
