John H. Tighe age 72 of Griffith, IN passed away on Friday March 25, 2016 at Munster Community Hospital.

He is survived by his daughter; Shirley (Edward) Tighe-Cernick of Crown Point

son; Brian Holloway of Griffith

step-son; Bill Holloway of Indiana, 6 grandchildren,

brother; Wayne Tighe, sister; Hazel (John Bailey) Tighe

Preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne Tighe, son Dean Tighe, sister Pamela Schauer and brother Bill Tighe.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, April 1, 2016 at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith from 4-8:00 pm.

John retired from Amtrak and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
