John T. Shelby age 46 of Hammond, passed away on Friday March 20, 2015

He is survived by his wife of 12 years: Linda; children Stephanie Duffala, John Shelby Jr., and Joshua Wick; granddaughter Jeweliana Shelby; mother: Beverly Shelby,  Siblings Patty (Mike) Andrews, Sharon (Don) Swank, and Charles Shelby. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father Charles.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith with Pat Skaritka officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday March 24 ^th from 3-7:00pm at White Funeral Home in Griffith.

John was employed at Car X Muffler in Whiting. He loved fishing, hunting, going for rides on his Harley, and spending time with his family.
