John S. Roll "Johansen", age 54 of Gary, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rayliene; daughter: Rachael; son William "Billy"; father: William C. Roll of Hudson, FL; mother Betty Roll of Hammond; brother : Mike (Denise) Roll of Griffith; sister: Kathy (Everett) Hetrick of Hammond; nieces and nephews: John, Tiffany, Justin, Zachary, Ashley, Ethan, betty, roger, Jason, and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his sisters: Patricia, Diane, Bonnie, Lisa; and niece: Chalonda.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith with Pastor Bill Gibbs officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family Thursday, October 3 ^rd , from 4:00pm until time of service at White Funeral Home.

John was an avid Sox, Bears and Noterdame fan. He was a huge Sports fan.
