John William Hall age 87 of Hammond, passed away on Friday October 4, 2013. He is survived by her daughter Vickie (Jeff) Bunnell of Hebron; grandson Brent Tomb; sister Elsie (Wade) Rowlett; sister-in-law Betty Umbarger, and by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arch and May, wife Nina, brother Jim, and by his sisters Esther, Jane, and Lois.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 10:00am at White Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Monday October 7 ^th from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith.

John was a Navy Veteran. He was retired from LTV Steel and he was a member of the Whiting masonic Lodge #613, Orak Shrine in Michigan City, and the South Bend Consistory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
