John "Dr. Olds" Gregory

November 18, 1952 – July 10, 2026

John "Dr. Olds" Gregory, age 73, of Munster, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. He is survived by his wife and soul-mate of 46 years, Tina; son, Johnathon  "Smiley" Gregory; grandchildren Xavier & Mikaela Gregory and their mother Tiffany; his loving in-laws Mona (late Nick) Plesha; Stan (late Madelyn) Kocon; Tom Kocon; John (Jeannette) Kocon; Ben (Suzie) Plesha; Hannah, Lia & Isaiah Plesha; Bianca Plesha-Hamara; Gage & Zola Hamara; Kyle (Kayla) Kocon; Cataleya Kocon; and Olivia Kocon. He's preceded in death by his parents, John & Naida Gregory.

John retired from Knazur/Ahlgrim/Napleton Cadillac in Hammond after 37 years as an automotive painter/bodyman. He was a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America and was an avid bass guitar player for over 50 years. John was the kindest person you could ever meet. He would help anyone and everyone who needed it. He will be so dearly missed by many, and his memory will live on in all of our hearts.

Per John's wishes, services will be private.

White Funeral Home in Griffith was entrusted to handle his arrangements.
