John W. Floyd age 97 of Griffith passed away on Friday February 16th, 2018.

He is survived by his wife Doris Imogen; son David (Trudy) Floyd; by his grandchildren Kelly (Steve) Ritter, David (Lucia) Floyd, Cindi (Enrique) Floyd- Morales and six great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by son John, parents George and Flossie; brothers Orville, Mark and Herman; sisters; Juanita and Delena.

John was an U.S Army veteran D-Day survivor, and he retired from NIPSCO in 1983.
