Jesus "Jess" Lomelin Jr. age 86 of Griffith passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Dolores

Children: Tom (Sharon) Murchek, USAF Lt. Colonel Anthony (Shane) Lomelin.

Grandchildren: Samantha, Timothy, Kylie, Nathan and Ava. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Susan Lomelin Sr., granddaughter Stefanie; siblings Mercedes, Carmen, Vince and Vincente.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad Street in Griffith

With Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating.

Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W.45 ^th Avenue Griffith

Jess was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith, St. Mary Mens Club, he was past Grand Knight and member of the East Chicago Knights of Columbus Council #1700. He was a Korean War Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post #369. He also loved bowling, golfing and reading.
