Jerome "Jerry" Van Dommelen Jr., age 61 of Valparaiso passed away on Wednesday January 8th, 2020.

He is survived by his daughter; Lauren (Nick) Hedegore, grandchildren; Brooke, Jonathan, and Sydney Hedegore, sister; Sharon (David) Lawrence, cousins; Patty (Jim) Sibley and Wayne (Lisa Belinsky) Micka, and second cousins; Ron and Andrew Sibley

Cremation was chosen. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday January 18th beginning at 12:00 PM located at 515 Camden Court, Valparaiso. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to pattysibley5044@gmail.com

Jerry worked at Carson's for 20 plus years, proving to be a very devoted and hard worker. He loved gardening, cooking, and his animals, mainly his cats. Jerry was a loving father, grandfather, and all-around family man, enjoying spending time with his family whenever he could.
