Jeffery "Jeff" Schroeder Jr. age 38 of Griffith passed away on Thursday October 20, 2016. He is survived by his mother Debra (Robert) Taggart: father Jeff (Patsy) Schroeder; Children Destiny, Gena, and D.J. Vanderlaan; brother Paul Schroeder;   step-brothers Robert (Jen) Taggart ,Christopher Taggart and Jeff (Erin) Sako, step-sister Lisa (Scott) Biller; grandparents Ken and Donna Baker, Phyllis Schroeder and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jack Schroeder. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 25th at 10:00am at the First Christian Church of Griffith with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Monday October 24th from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith. Jeff was an excellent guitar player and he loved the 80's music. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
