Jeanette Edith Walter (nee Duggan) age 80 of Griffith, formerly of East Chicago, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014.

She is survived by her sons: Roy (Chris) Walter, and Martin (Barb) Walter both of Griffith; grandson: Roy Jr. "RJ" (Tori) Walter; great granddaughter: Raevyn Walter; and special companion: "Moe".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Dorothy Duggan, and grandmother, Edith Zoeger.

Funeral services will be private.

Jeanette was retired from the city of East Chicago, as a Comptrollers officer.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Treasured Friends.
