Jean Kirk-Oros age 80, of Munster, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012.

She is survived by her children: Teresa (late James) Hardy, Emil (Lori) Poppa, John (Tina) Poppa, Virgil Poppa;

19 Grandchildren;

29 Great Grandchildren;

Siblings: Eileen (late Howard) Dothager,

Edward A (Leslie) Kirk,

Joseph "Skip" Kirk,

David J. (Judy) Johnsten, Charles "Rick"(Cheryl) Johnsten;

numerous cousins; and

special friend Dr. Norm Patterson

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Emil "Moe" Poppa,

Richard A. Oros;

parents: Ed and Eileen Kirk-Johnsten;

daughter: Sofia;

grandchildren: Michael Huetten, and

Ethan Poppa,

Aron Fox;

great granddaughter: Rachel Hardy;

brother: Randall;

sister: Margaret "Peggy" Biancardi; and son-in-law James Hardy.

Services will be Private. Cremation will follow.

Friends may meet with the family Friday September 28th, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45th Ave. Griffith, IN.

Jean was a devoted wife and mother.
