Jay E. Hess age 74 of Griffith , passed away on Saturday September 25, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Maxine

Dale (Connie) Hess of Griffith

Chuck Hess of Warsaw

Grandchildren: Corey, Krystal, Douglas, Blake, Brent, and Ashlee

Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Alexis, and Jason

Brother: Roger (Janet) Hess of Ohio

Brother-in-law: William (Ivory) Steinard of Connersville , IN.

Aunt: Myrle Kitchen of Ohio

Also survived by two nephews and a niece in Ohio

Preceded in death by his parents Jay and Verda, his infant son, and by his infant sister June.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at 10:00am at the White Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Puent officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville , IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday September 28 ^th from 4:00-8:00pm at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave , in Griffith .
