Janet D. Hedman age 72 of Dyer passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter Joleen (Michael) Orosco, son Brad Hedman;

Grandchildren Katelyn and Austin and by her sisters Joyce Grochowski and Bonnie Gleason.

Preceded in death by her parents George and Ethel Grochowski and sons Gregory, Grant, Gary and daughter Audra.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith, with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Janet graduated from Evergreen Park High class of 1961 and she was a member of the Foresters.

She loved sewing, crafting, and taking her grandchildren to the park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
