Jane C. Spehar (Bothwell) (Trudeau)

Jane went home to Heaven on January 8, 2015, she was born on February 11, 1924 to George & Agnes (Dahl) Bothwell in Duluth, MN where she was a lifelong resident except for a brief stint in CA after the loss of her first husband.  She moved to NW Indiana in 2001 to be near her family.

While in Duluth she was a member of Holy Name Cathedral where she attended Mass on a daily basis and was active in the seniors group.  Jane also worked as an election official and volunteered at St. Luke's Hospital.

After moving to IN she attended the Griffith Free Methodist Church where she found new friends that she enjoyed going to lunch and shopping with.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: George Jr., Charles and Kenneth; her daughter Rose Marie and son George; her loving husbands William Trudeau in 1954 and Hubert Spehar in 1989.

Jane is survived by her daughter Patricia (Patti) Matter; granddaughter Stacy (Patrick) LaPatra; grandson Derek (Janine) Smithers; two step grandchildren, Shelli Matter and Steven Matter; five great-grandchildren; Samantha, Ryan, Joey, Daniel and Dori along with many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15 at 6:00 pm at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith with Rev. Brian Jones officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, January 15 from 4-6:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
