James "Pat" Zarndt, age 59, of Griffith, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He is survived by his daughters: Melissa Zarndt and Meghan (Andrew) King; grandchildren: Carter, Lily, Olivia, Landon, Henry, and a granddaughter on the way; siblings: David (Carol) Zarndt, Elizabeth Zarndt, Daniel (Theresa) Zarndt, Kelley (Daniel) Mills; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Claudia Zarndt; and his infant sister Shannon.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 7:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Father Keith Virus officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM when service begins at White Funeral Home.

Pat graduated from Highland High School Class of 1983. He worked at both St. Mary and St. James Catholic churches in Maintenance.

He was an AVID fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks. He loved the Blues Brothers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

As Pat would often say "SEE YA LATER BUTTHEAD"
