James D. Tagliareni age 92 of Hammond passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Wanda;

Children Jim (Lucinda) Tagliareni Jr. and Mary Kay (Rick) Hine

Grandchildren: Jeffrey Watson, Tim Watson, Suzanne Watson- Hunter, Joshua Justus, Rhiannan Holmes, Cameron Govert, Kurt Tagliareni, Kevin Tagliareni, Ricky Hine, Brandy Hine, Bethanie Kelley and by many Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dominic and Teresa Tagliareni, and by his brothers Francis and Daniel.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 18th at 6:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith with Rev. Donald Stock officiating.

Burial will take place on Friday December 19, 2014 at 10:00am DIRECTLY at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, December 18 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at White Funeral Home

James was retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company. He was an Army Veteran and member  of the American Legion Post 369 in East Chicago. He was a member of the NW Indiana Clock Assoc., the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Peace Pipe Chapter # 83, a IHW Charter member Youngstown Sheet & Tube Old Timers Club and the NRA. James was a very proud participant in the Honor Flight Program.
