James W. "Big Foot" Hardy age 55 of Hobart, IN, passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2012.

He is survived by his wife: Teresa of 20 Years;

Charissa Huetten;

Grandchildren: Morgan, Jordan, Taylor, Savannah, Michael, Jared, Zeke, Lilly and John;

Mike (Jennifer) Alexander,

Pete (Rose) Hardy,

Ted (Dillie) Alexander;

Sisters: Frances Freeman and Vicky Alexander;

Father: Lawrence (Dottie) Hardy.

Special aunt Elaine and uncle Wayne

Mother –in-law jean (Norm Patterson) Oros;

Brothers-in-law: Emil (Lori) Poppa, John (Tina) Poppa and Virgil (Joyce) Poppa.

Preceded in death by his mother: Glodean; brother: Larry; son: Michael Huetten; granddaughter: Rachel Hardy; sister in law: Sofia Poppa; nephew: Ethan Poppa

Funeral services will be on Monday April 16, 2012 at 7:00PM at White Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Moffitt officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday April 16, 2012 from 3-7:00PM at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave in Griffith, IN.

James retired from Chicago Carpenters Union Local 578. Pile Drivers and Divers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
