DOMINGUEZ, JAMES

James Dominguez, 81, of Highland, IN, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was a child of the Harbor section of East Chicago, a 1952 graduate of East Chicago Washington High School and Calumet College, a Little League coach for the town of Highland, an electrician at Youngstown Steel/LTV where he retired after 42 years, a co-planner of wonderful family vacations, a dependable helping hand to family, friends and neighbors, and an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers. He will be deeply missed. James is survived by his loving wife Margaret, his children Cindy (Bob) Rosenbeck of Griffith, IN, Barb (Mike) Kepchar of Griffith, IN, Laura (Ray) Mason of Highland, IN, Tom (Jacqueline) Dominguez of Chicago, IL, and Sheryl (Cesar) Regalado of Highland, IN, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his siblings Lupe (Louie) DelaVega of Griffith, IN, Bobby (Gloria) Dominguez of Tequesta, FL, and Mary (George) Alonge of Overland Park, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Eulalia Dominguez, his brothers Tony and Raul (Julie), and his son James Kenneth (Laurie).

Visitation is Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM at White Funeral Home, 921 W. 45 ^th Ave., Griffith, IN. Funeral service is Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations in James' honor may be made to the MDS Foundation or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
