Jaime L. Perko age 44 of Highland, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2014 He is survived by his parents Mary Lou and Nick Perko,

Sister: Starr Ann (Ed) Roth,

Brother: Nickey Perko, and by his numerous Aunts, Uncle, and cousins who he loved and who loved him.

Jaime was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uncles Chester,Steve and Wally, Cousins Robin, and Jeffrey, black lab and friend Xena.

A graduate of Highland High School in 1987 . A ttended Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana.

Jaime was employed by Majestic Star Casino in Gary. He was a former TV and Sports broadcaster with Comcast, WJOB Radio, and Channel 56 Television.

Jaime attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Highland, was an avid Cubs, Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox, and Blackhawks fan. He also enjoyed running his fantasy baseball and football leagues.

Jaime was a loyal loving son, brother and friend whose smile lit up a room and melted your heart. He will be missed forever.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 10:00am DIRECTLY at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church located at 500 Northgate Dr. in Dyer

Burial will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, April 27th from 3:00pm-8:00pm at
